 06-04-2003: Statiunea Mamaia, la standarde occidentale

Pentru a aduce statiunea la standarde occidentale, la Mamaia continua lucrarile de modernizare. Astfel, anul acesta se va construi primul si unicul Aqualand din Romania, proiect initiat de Primaria Constanta cu sprijinul Ministerului Turismului si care vizeaza crearea si exploatarea unui parc acvatic de distractii, pentru toate categoriile de varsta. Acesta va avea o capacitate de circa 3000 de vizitatori pe zi, iar pe perioada iernii va fi transformat intr-un patinoar artificial.
Situat la intrarea in statiunea Mamaia, pe o suprafata de 2,2 ha, in dreptul zonei de acces spre Teatrul de Vara, delimitat de hotelurile Aurora si Dunarea, parcul va avea tobogane, piscine, caderi de apa si bazine ce vor insuma o suprafata activa de 3.500 mp de apa. In Aquaparc se vor putea organiza minispectacole, petreceri nocturne si altele, vizitatorii avand posibilitatea de distractie nonstop. |
